Fornite Battle Royal Free To Play

Fortnite new game mode: Battle Royale will be a full free-to-play game mode on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac and will be a standalone.

Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival video game developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly and is all about exploration, scavenging items, crafting weapons, building fortified structures, and fighting waves of encroaching monsters.

The news game mode Battle Royale, will be a 100 player PVP mode which is similar to Battlegrounds and will be quite a competition. Battle Royale will drop up to 100 players into a Fortnite map, with the same building and crafting systems. The winner of the game basically is the last man standing.

The good thing about this and what could be more attractive than PUBG is the fact that Battle Royale will be a standalone game that is free-to-play. So, you might expect the developers to start with in-game purchases, but Epic Games promised that it won't sell items to give anyone a competitive advantage. They did mentioned that ‘’At some point in the future, we will sell other things including cosmetics or compendium-like content”.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac on September 26.
