Far Cry 5 Sounds Promising!

At the E3 of 2017, we were able to see some gameplay of the next Far Cry installment and in a couple of months, the game will finally be released.

Far Cry 5 is the upcoming first-person shooter action-adventure video game of Ubisoft which has started with the Far Cry series in 2005. It is the eleventh installment of the Far Cry series. Same as it predecessors, it is an open-world game which players can explore on foot or through various vehicles.

In the previous title, Far Cry 4, co-op mode was possible but not in the main campaign. Now, it is finally possible to explore everything in co-op in the upcoming Far Cry. This could be a huge deal, since co-op is nowadays very popular and in high demand. It is also possible to customize your character, unlike the previous Far Cry titles. In what extent, is still not clear, but you can for sure choose your gender.

This time, the game is not set in a foreign jungle with dangerous animals and nice beaches, but it is set in a fictional place called Hope Country, Montana which is located in the US. The main villain is a preacher and thinks he is the father of his people and needs to protect them from an inevitable collapse of American society. So, the game will probably be about extremism and could be quite a terrifying and vulgar experience.

In the game, an option called Gun for Hire can be used, which is similar to the one in Far Cry 2. This is selected before a mission and only one can be used. There are characters that will aid you from airplane, close combat and can scout your enemies for you.

It all looks promising but we will have to see what the future brings. Far Cry 5 will be available on the 27th of February on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
