Last week on Friday, Rockstar Games tweeted that there would be an announcement on the 28th of September, which probably would be a trailer. Now, Rockstar Games finally brought up some news for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.
The first Red Dead Redemptions was released in 2010 and was acclaimed by many reviewers, with praise directed at the game's visuals, dynamically-generated music, voice acting, gameplay, and story. The game has shipped over 15 million copies and won year-end accolades, including Game of the Year awards from several gaming publications. It is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time.
A couple of months ago, Rockstar Games told the fans that the game was delayed. But still showed some new screenshot. Yesterday, Rockstar Games came with the new trailer, and its looks promising.
The trailer showed a bit more about the story of the game. Apparently, you do not play again as John Marston of the first game, but a new character named Arthur Morgan and a member of the Van Der Linde gang which is Marston’s old gang in the first game. The game probably will take place as a prequel to the previous game.
In the trailer it was announced that it will release in spring 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, but PC will still be the question.
